On April 22, 2003, Appliance Recycling Centers of America, Inc. issued a press release announcing its first quarter results. The Company reported revenues of $10,026,000 for the first quarter of 2003 ended March 29, down from $11,699,000 in the year-earlier period. The Company also reported a net loss of $816,000 or $0.35 per basic share, compared to earnings of $238,000 or $0.07 per diluted share in the first quarter of 2002.
