Item 5.07: Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders
On May 12, 2011, Appliance Recycling Centers of America, Inc. (the “Company”) held its 2011 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, the shareholders elected the Company’s nominees for director to serve a one-year term until the 2012 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The shareholders also ratified the Audit Committee’s appointment of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP to serve as the Company’s independent registered accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2011 and approved and adopted the 2011 Stock Compensation Plan.
